Phillipe Nover is the Next GSP? TUF Season 8 Episode 8

In The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 Episode 8, the Lightwieght Phillipe Nover defeated Dave Kaplan. The fight was extremely fast, Nover landed several strong punches and overwhelmed Kaplan and went down. Kaplan gave his back and Nover swiftly submitted with a rear-naked choke.

Nover is the real deal. And looks like he’s on his way to winning the 155lb TUF. He has also really impressed Dana White, who described Nover as being similar to Georges St. Pierre. This description really does fit with Nover’s fighting style, and pound-for-pound power. It will be interesting to see how Nover will progress as he as has tons of potential and has the ability to be a very exciting fighter. Looking forward to see his next fight.

This episode was actually very refreshing as it didn’t focus too much on Junie Browing’s annoying temper tantrums. The show got back to its main focus of producing excting fights and insane pranks…. Sushi will never look the same.
